Our Story
Well-designed, well-made, well-priced lighting has been, well, non-existent … Until now! We believe lighting should be beautiful and made from premium materials, but who says that has to cost you a fortune? Mitzi was founded right here in New York’s Hudson Valley with a goal to thoughtfully craft high-design lighting and make it highly attainable.
Generations of Light
As a third-generation lighting family, our passion illuminates everything we do. In fact, it was our Grandma Mitzi's well-designed, eclectic style that inspired the whole thing. As a painter and antique collector, Mitzi had an eye for finding the perfect piece at the right price. So, you could say helping you do the same is in our blood.

Good quality and beautiful design . Looks great and the quality is great. We bought a light from another company at the same time because we like both and the craftsmanship of the Mitzi light was far superior!
This is my second purchase from Mitzi and I couldn't be happier. I appreciate the higher quality of their products. I bought this light for my hallway and it's perfect. It's brighter than my old light since it takes two bulbs. Installation was simple. I also love that this light is damp rated since it is located right outside of my bathroom. This light would be perfect for small entryways laundry rooms and bathrooms also.
Looked great in photos—even better in person. Fit and finish are excellent. Overall quality meets/exceeds price compared to other items in the range. Very attractive and 8 bulbs is great to light up that space that was just too dim before.
Love, love, LOVE my Mitzi light! I had such high hopes for this light, having scoped it out for nearly two months before finally purchasing. When the product was delivered I was very happy with how it was packaged, no damage. Installation was relatively simple. I appreciated that different lengths of extensions that were provided so we were able to find the perfect length. It is such a quality product. After such high hopes, somehow, the light still surpassed them. I could not possibly love it any more. I smile every time I walk in the room. I'm so happy with my purchase, I recently bought all of my bathroom light fixtures from Mitzi too.
